Stanly Community College will hold a security exercise in conjunction with local law enforcement and emergency responders the afternoon of Jan. 2, 2024, at its Crutchfield Education Center in Locust and on the morning of Jan. 3, 2024, on its Albemarle campus.

The community should be advised that this exercise is for employees and first responders; classes are not scheduled on these days.

During the drill, public access will be blocked from College Drive in Albemarle and Stanly Parkway in Locust. Individuals near either campus may notice the areas to be louder and busier than usual on these days.
